Such high reviews for a well deserved place. Very warm and welcoming upon arrival. It was our first ever experience eating nigerian food & now won’t be our last! The Jollof rice was so delicious and flavourful, we also ordered the Fufu and Egusi soup which was so so delicious. We also ordered the Goat Loin chop which they catered specifically for me and my friends spice tolerance which was super sweet.Cost-wise, we were surprised with how cheap it was. Our meal cost 25 each for two people that we shared.Great customer service & it felt like each bite I took, I was in someone’s home eating a delicious homecooked meal instead of being in the heart of a foodcourt. Recommend for anyone wanting to try out for the first time.
It's been a while, but WOW, I should have tried this wonderful place so much sooner than I did.Only a few times have my tastebuds experienced such great flavours and spice (not hot just right) as you can see from the photos I did start with something small but what an experience, and the staff were the most sweetest, friendliest and attentive. if you are super lucky you might get Xmas card with your meal. I say please give the great place a try I highly recommend the food and service, also the price is great. I will be back very soon to try more dishes. Thank you for such a great and wonderful experience.
After many years, It was the first time , I was trying some Nigerian food. It was different good because the mother and son are very lovely people. They have just opened this place. Don't forget to try their home cooked Nigerian food. You will enjoy it the way I did.
First time trying Nigerian food. Very friendly service. We ordered Jollof rice and chicken, pounded yam and egusi soup, and plantain. They tasted amazing and fresh. Highly recommended.
I was so excited to try pounded yam! My friend in America was eating it with the soup and it looks delicious she loves it! I forgot the name of the food though.I looked everywhere years ago but there’s none actually. Lucky they are here. Really kind staff and good quality costumer service. Thanks for cooking.
Waited forever to try this and now there’s amazing Nigerian food in Blacktown. I got the egusi with the pounded yam, partner had the goat chops & jollof rice. The goat is quite hot but you get to choose your spice level, it is very hot though lol but everything is flavourful and amazing. Worth the wait and is cooked to order!! So fresh and welcoming energy from the owners ( son and mum , so sweet ) love it and everyone should try!
A huge thank you to Summy for the delicious food and to O’ for the outstanding service! This incredible family truly goes above and beyond to make their customers feel welcome. I had the privilege of hearing the heartwarming history behind their family and the passion they put into their cooking. The beef skewers were so delicious, they had me questioning my life choices, and the goat dish made me want to travel the world in search of more amazing flavors. I can’t wait to come back and try more items from the menu. I’ll definitely be following this family’s journey!
Awesome authentic food that is cooked when you order it so it is super fresh. Ordered the goat loin chops and was able to pick the spice level. If you can't handle spice I'd recommend you get a 1 or a 2 out of 10 though. Very tasty.
